Serie N° 115: Producción editorial chilena a través de las convocatorias del Consejo Nacional de la Cultura y las Artes, 2013-2020.

Abstract

A study of the Chilean publishing production during the period from 2013 to 2020 is presented with the objective of evaluating the publishing activity in Chile between those years. For this purpose, a review of the projects selected in the calls of the Book Fund has been made, selection made through the processes that the National Fund for the Promotion of Books and Reading indicates in the modality “Support to the industry”. As a result of a quantitative analysis, a vision is obtained of the current state of the publishing market, the impact of the promotion policies and a prospection of the future of the book industry in Chile.
