Serie N° 55: Gestión de recursos culturales en bibliotecas comunitarias: una propuesta de servicio.

Abstract

The paper present the work of community libraries centered on the idea of building different cultural spaces in the community and with the community. To do this are capable of channelling that cast - intra and extra walls-library a vision of wide culture based on dialogue of knowledges, solidarity and human values more genuine or representative of community cultural action strategies. The first space has to do with the handling of information (technical aspects) proposing - so - a local cultural information service. A second aspect (cultural action) occurs within a participatory cultural management program. Making it possible - as a whole - a realization that proposes to the library as social and cultural centre space.
