dc.description.abstractDuring his fourth travel, Gulliver (the character created by Jonathan Swift in 1762) reached the land of Houyhnhnms, a breed of beautiful and clever horses which ruled over the race of "Yahoo" who were repugnant and filthy humanoids. Even in 1762 holding a “Yahoo” rank may be a problem for humans!. 250 years later the high technological whirlpool in which we live, comes devastating the flimsy and square social scaffolding that used to pilot our old education. Are we still able to identify a real revolution when it comes knocking at our doors?. Are we educating our youth on a critic, analyse and action pattern?. Have we lost our capability to build real solutions?. Settled in Europe for decades, a South American examines continental’s solutions and try hard to fit them to the South American reality. Doing so he realizes that, unfortunately, slipping from a Gulliver scheme to a Robinson Crusoe’s one is quite an easy behaviour. This article spotlights on Education, nevertheless this analyse guideline can be applied easily on many others social systems in which we live.es
