Technology is not a neutral element, the incorporation of digital resources to libraries implies a transformation of services, spaces, professional tasks, and the very concept of library. The objective of the study is to make a diagnosis of the perception and demand for electronic resources in the libraries of Spain and Latin America among the librarians of these countries; that is to say, to analyze the level of penetration and the degree of incorporation to their collections, with the purpose of articulating systems of diffusion and use to be able to plan future strategies. Methodology: A survey was carried out among the professionals to try to have information from the triple perspective: the needs of the users and the perception of this demand by the librarians. Results: The data obtained in the study will be a starting point to know the state of the art, the trends, and the future planning of digital resources in the libraries of the system.
